Children will be children. As not fully formed human beings we give them the benefit of the doubt. Now, take a minute to consider all the presumed adults you know. How are those adults doing? How about you? Or me?

I am having trouble going to sleep tonight because I am struggling to wrap my head around the events of the last few weeks, the last few months, the last few years. Where are the adults? I see what look like fully formed human beings on television and they are all talking about bombs, and dead civilians, even small children. There is quite a bit of talk about how horrific it all is, yet no one does a damned thing about any of it.

Where are the human beings who understand that no one wins a war? Everyone loses. Are we all idiots? Maybe so, because what is happening in our world right now is completely insane.

And, what is happening in my own teeny, little corner of the world has plenty of adults behaving like children, too. Touché!

As the world goes, so it turns.

Sweet dreams for me tonight? Perhaps not sweet but I expect they will be interesting.
