The best way to learn Italian is to watch television on an Italian TV station. Italian immersion school is a place to meet interesting and diverse people. It’s not a perfect place to learn Italian. Would I do it again? Absolutely!
The Italian version of antiques roadshow is on the Italian version of HDTV. I am watching it right now. That’s a lot of Italian! And while I still can’t speak the language I am at least starting to understand. I loved blogging when I was here last September. This time I am busy having fun.
I just learned that cinquenta is Italian for bingo. Cinque is five. I expect cinquenta is what is used because it sounds better.
Chinquenta. Try saying it. 😎
