Saving the day

My trip around Sicily with Keyrow tours was amazing. With a week in between that and another two weeks of Italian in Siracusa, I made plans to come to a small town. This town is Ragusa.

I thought, how small could it be? Answer is, really small. I had to hire a driver to bring me here so I am stuck. Tomorrow I will visit Modica, the chocolate capital of Sicily? Yup, that’s as much as I could come up with for tomorrow, I will save another small town for the day after. Yikes!

I was enthralled with the bell tower in the duomo going off at the odd time of 6:30 p.m. this evening. I looked up and the clock on the tower indicated it was 6 p.m.

This seems like the perfect way to deal with daylight savings time Sicilian style. Round up or round down as it suits you. Resetting that clock is a job for the phantom of the opera and he is busy with his job in Paris.
