A beautiful thing here in Italy is the evening stroll. The streets in the smallest of towns are busy. It makes sense if we remember that these are communities of small homes lived in by working class families.
A walk costs nothing and seeing friends is free.
The evening walk is called a passaggiata. Loosely translated it means a stroll. For me, every where I go seems to involve vertical climbs.
Tonight here in Scilla on the tip of the boot of mainland Italy I have had a proper passiaggata. The sun is setting over Sicily soon. There is no doubt Sicily is magical. So far that is also true of the tip of the boot!
