It is agreed that Italian food is the best?

Sicilian food is wonderful. BUT, I am in tourist areas and it’s not truly fresh. It can’t be. The restaurants are feeding throngs of people.

Here in Scilla- pronounced like the name Sheila, everything is fresh. There are some tourists, of course.

When I arrived at this fishing village I said what I always say- “so now whatcha gonna do?”

While looking for lunch I discovered that the beach area is less than half the story. The true fishing village is a 15 minute walk thru a little tunnel.

Magic is everywhere in the south of Italy. I now know it’s not confined to Sicily.
