When I arrived at my home stay on Sunday I was a bit taken aback. I am staying in a great neighborhood, but in a small apartment with three small bedrooms and only one bathroom. My room is the smallest.
With me is Amarozo, my host and Tawei, a 23 year old from Taiwan who wants to work in South America. Amarozo is supposed to only speak Spanish with me. It’s fine because I can tell she doesn’t speak much English.
Amarozo makes us two meals a day. We have breakfast and dinner together and with our three languages we can have dinner conversation.
